It is with deep sadness and regret that we write to inform you of the recent passing of a dear friend and colleague, Mr John Brasington.
Having worked for Church Bruce from 1960 and supporting the firm through its developments until almost present day, it is a great loss for Hatten Wyatt to have to say goodbye to one of, if not the longest, serving employees the firm has known.
John joined Church Bruce Solicitors way back in 1960, he progressed to Partner and in 2001 took a step back to spend the winter months overseas. He continued to be a consultant at the firm since Church Bruce incorporated with Hatten Wyatt.
John specialised in Wills and LPAs. He was highly experienced and helped people to plan for later life and to put their legal affairs in order for over 60 years.
His friendly and understanding manner instantly put you at ease, as did his ability to explain legal issues in plain English.
Our thoughts are with John’s family and friends.
