I was admitted as a solicitor in 1994 having had a previous career in industry. Over the last 25 years I have specialised in Family Law and am a past President of Medway Law Society. I obtained a B.A. Honours degree in law from the University of Kent after being one of the first mature students to take the course part time and in my case whilst raising 2 young children and working 4 part time jobs to fund the studies. I am experienced in all areas of Family Law and one of my notable cases was JB v KS (2015) EWHC 180 (Fam) where I successfully represented a father of a child who had been conceived by agreement between a homosexual woman and a heterosexual man who was granted a Parental Responsibility Order in the High Court. Outside of the office I enjoy horse-riding, sheep rearing, clay pigeon shooting and am looking forward to skiing again once my broken leg has healed.
